Housing: There are lots of choices.
Living on campus is an integral part of the VFCC experience. Valley Forge offers a variety of housing options on its more than 80-acre campus that make living here enjoyable. There are a variety of options available to students, including on-campus apartments, single rooms, air-conditioning and rooms in the recently new, state-of-the-art Bongiorno Hall.
As a freshman, you’ll be assigned a residence hall based on your preferences whenever possible, and you’ll be matched up with roommates who share similar qualities and interests. There are single rooms on campus but they usually get assigned to upperclassmen.
Of course, four walls and a bed don’t make a home—it takes people to help make that happen. And that’s why the Residence Life staff strives to provide a healthy living environment in the residence halls and campus apartments. Your Resident Assistant (RA) and Assistant to the RA (A2RA), provide leadership on the residence-hall floor. RAs and A2RAs help you adjust to college life and promote a lifestyle that honors God and helps students foster a vibrant Christ-centered life. Likewise, your Residence Director, a professional member of the Student-Life staff, is available to help with the emotional and social transition to college life and keep your on-campus living environment as positive as possible.
