New Women's Softball Coach Named

The Valley Forge Christian College Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the hiring of Blair Dameron (photo, right) as Head Women’s Softball Coach. Dameron is a Pennsylvania native, growing up in Hilltown. In 2009 he graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor's degree in Business Management. 

Dameron received a baseball scholarship from West Chester University where he played first and third base.  During his college athletic career he accomplished several achievements that included being named to two distinguished teams: 1st Team All Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) for three years and 1st Team Atlantic Region. He also played in two NCAA II College World Series and set the record for the number of home runs in a single season at West Chester University.

After graduation, Dameron pursued a career in business. He obtained a position at Aluminum Athletic Equipment (AAE) in Royersford, Pa. In addition to AAE, Dameron took a position at Triple Crown All Stars Baseball and Softball Academy in Limerick, Pa. where he leads a speed and agility clinic for baseball and softball players. He is a member of Victory Church in Audubon and resides in Lower Pottsgrove with his wife,
Courtney, and their daughter, Addison.
