VFCC Keystone Scholarship
- Who's Eligible?: Awarded to first time entering freshmen and transfer students who are classified as PA residents by AES/PHEAA.
- How Much?: If your PA State Grant is not at least $2,500 for the year, Valley Forge Christian College will award the difference in a VFCC Keystone Scholarship for your first year of attendance at the college. GUARANTEED!* [PA State Grant + VFCC Keystone Scholarchip = a minimum of $2,500.]
- Requirements: Students must have filed a Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by May 1, completed the PA State Grant Status Notice to confirm residency, and have a completed financial aid file.
- Deadline: FAFSA must be received by processor by May 1.
- Renewable: No. First year scholarship.
- Application: FAFSA and State Grant Status Notice.
*Note: Guaranteed amount subject to change in the unlikely event that the maximum 2009-2010 PA State Grant would be less than $2,500.
New Majors Scholarship
- Who's Eligible?: Awarded to first time entering freshmen and transfer students upon their original admission to the college who enroll at VFCC as a student in one of our new majors.
- How Much?: $5,000 is paid as $500 in the first and second years; $1,000 in the third year; and $3,000 in the fourth year.
- Requirements: If a student changes to a different major, the scholarship monies already paid will be rescinded.
- Deadline: The scholarship will be for the first two years of the major's launch and will apply to each new undergraduate major introduced.*
- Renewable: Total amount paid over four years.
- Application: No application is required at this time.
*NOTE: This scholarship is available for students who enroll in the following major during the said academic years; Digital Media 09-10, English Language & Literature 09-10 & 10-11, and Secondary English Education 09-10 & 10-11. Majors currently in the design and approval process are Communications, Spanish, General Science, and Secondary Education in General Science, Math, Spanish, and Technology Education.
