We want you to feel comfortable contacting us with your questions about any part of life here at VFCC. But before you do that, you may want to check out the questions that others are asking. Where is VFCC?
VFCC is located in the borough of Phoenixville, PA, just a few miles from Valley Forge National Park and 25 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Baltimore, Washington D.C., and New York City also are within driving distance.

What are the campus buildings like?
Over the past 10 years, every building on campus has been renovated and four new buildings have been built. The recent completion of Cardone Hall increased the number of facilities on campus to 29 buildings, including seven residence halls, the Storms Research Center (library), Mason Chapel, Solomon's Porch, Kemprels Theater, Dining Commons, and Gymnasium. Both traditional and modern elements combine to give our unique buildings a historical, New England feel. Every building is within easy walking distance of the others on campus.

What is VFCC's denominational affiliation?
VFCC is a co-educational college of the Assemblies of God for the northeastern United States. Several denominations, however, are represented in the student body. To learn more about the Assemblies of God, please visit their website

Is VFCC accredited?
Yes. VFCC is accredited with the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

What types of degree programs does VFCC offer?
VFCC awards bachelor's degrees in 24 major areas of study. Half of our majors relate to preparation for vocational ministry and half relate to marketplace careers in the fields of music, education, business, psychology, social work, and digital media. VFCC also awards several associates degrees and certificates of study. Students who complete a VFCC bachelor's degree in a selected field of study graduate with a concentration in Bible as well. In August 2007, VFCC launched its graduate school with two majors, Theology and Christian Leadership. Regular additions of graduate majors are planned. When should I apply to VFCC?
High school seniors are encouraged to apply as early as possible during their senior year. Admission requirements include: a) application with essay questions, b) two references, c) high school transcript, d) ACT or SAT and e) $25 application fee. Admission application deadlines are August 1 for the fall semester and January 1 for the spring semester. Visit our application page for more information about applying to VFCC.

What intercollegiate athletic opportunities are available?
Valley Forge is a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division II, fielding varsity teams in women's soccer, women's volleyball, women's basketball, men's soccer, men's basketball and men's baseball..

What kinds of extracurricular activities can VFCC students participate in?
VFCC has student ministry teams, clubs and a variety of student organizations, including Student Government Association, Homeless Ministry, Teen Challenge Ministry, Curtain Call(VFCC's drama club), Intramural sports, and various small groups around campus. We also have several leadership opportunites including serving as a Resident Assistant, Assistant Resident Assistant, START Team leader, Chapel Usher or a Missions Committee member. In addition, a variety of opportunities exist in the Music Department, including the Concert Choir (by audition only), the College Choir (open membership), College Band (open membership) and other music and drama teams (Chosen, Pneuma, and 3D) that perform both on and off campus. What kinds of career placement services are available?
The placement office offers assistance to students and graduates with resume preparation, interviewing skills and career planning and permits access to student-ministry and career-placement opportunities. Feel free to contact our Director of Career Services or view the job opportunities board in the Student Life/Mailroom Building for more information.

Is it difficult for incoming students to obtain financial aid?
More than 90 percent of all full-time students receive financial aid from federal, state and/or college-based programs. VFCC's Financial Aid Brochure provides details on various grants, loans and scholarships. Students needing financial assistance should submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). What are the qualifications of VFCC's faculty?
The VFCC faculty is a highly competent and qualified team of dedicated teachers and leaders. Nearly 60% of our full-time faculty members have earned their doctorates or are currently engaged in doctoral study. VFCC's low student-to-faculty ratio (21:1) facilitates one-on-one interaction between students and faculty, which dramatically enhances the learning process. Who are VFCC's students?
The majority of our students come from the Northeast, representing the ethnic diversity of this region. Forty-eight percent of the students are men, and 52 percent are women. VFCC's enrollment increased 98 percent in the past ten years to 944 students in 2006-2007, the College's largest student body ever.
