Atlantic Christian Girls Take Home Title Over Timothy Christian

PHOENIXVILLE, PA – On Saturday (Dec. 3), Atlantic Christian and Timothy Christian High School competed in the championship game of the Valley Forge Christian College Holiday Invitational.

After a 7-6 first quarter, Atlantic Christian pulled away and held the lead throughout. The Timothy Christian girls made a huge run in the third quarter, but it wasn’t enough to overcome their first half deficit. Atlantic Christian would win 43-41.

Atlantic Christian was led in scoring by Jodi Kelly. Kelly scored 19 points.
Senior forward Devon McHale added 10 points.
Senior point guard Kim Thomas scored nine points.

Timothy Christian High School was led by Jarae Farrell. Farrell scored 17 of her 19 points in the second half as she gave Timothy a strong shot at a comeback victory.

Senior forward Ashley Sivo scored nine points and junior guard Alyssa Figueroa added seven points.

After the game, the All-Tournament team was announced.
